NCARD Staff

The physicians of the Nasseri Clinic would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our practice!  We consider our patients as our extended family and always strive to provide state-of-the-art medical care in an environment of caring and compassion.  Our physicans are board eligible/certified in rheumatology, as well as foot and ankle surgery and medicine. 

 

At the Nasseri Clinic, we are dedicated to providing you with personalized medical intervention.  Whether that requires a targeted approach or a more holistic intervention, we will work as a team with your health care professionals to deliver medicine that treats you as a whole person.

Dr. Nasser Nasseri
Founder and President, NCARD

Dr. Nasseri is a board-certified rheumatologist. He earned his B.S. degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from George Washington University and Medical Degree from Ross University. Dr. Nasseri completed his residency and chief residency at St. Agnes Health Care. He then went to the University of Virginia for his fellowship in rheumatology. He is Chief of Rheumatology at both St. Agnes and Union Memorial Hospitals, as well as a known specialist in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, polymyalgia rheumatica, temporal arteritis, lupus, gout, pseudo-gout, osteoporosis, scleroderma, and other autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Jeffrey Landis
Director, Jean Walter Infusion Center

Dr. Landis is a board-certified rheumatologist. He earned his B.S. degree from York College of Pennsylvania in York, PA and went on to earn his medical degree in 2005 from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Landis then completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency in 2008 at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He moved to Richmond, VA to complete his Rheumatology Fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. Dr. Landis is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and was published as a co-author in a 2005 article on outcomes of coronary artery bypass grafting in patients with connective tissue diseases. He has co-authored two abstracts, including one in 2010 on the use of computer models in lupus.

Dr. Ebrahim Talebi
Specialist, Gerontology & Rheumatology

Dr. Talebi is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine and board-certified by the American college of rheumatology. Dr. Talebi received his Medical Degree at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed internal medicine residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. This was followed by a year of geriatric/gerontology fellowship and two years of rheumatology fellowship at the University of Maryland. Dr. Talebi's interests are focused on rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus and osteoarthritis.

Dr. Nicole Hunt 

Dr. Nicole Hunt is a board-certified Internist who received her medical school training at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, and completed Internal Medicine Residency at Howard University Hospital, where she also served in the capacity of a chief resident. She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has a special interest in managing autoimmune diseases such as lupus, psoriatic arthritis, sarcoidosis, rheumatoid arthritis, myositis, scleroderma, gout, vasculitis, and autoimmune lung disease. Dr. Hunt looks forward to providing prestigious care for all your rheumatic needs.

Rachel Gerardy, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Rachel Gerardy is certified by the American Association of Physician Assistants. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a B.S. in Biology in 2016. She received her Physician Assistant Certificate through Anne Arundel Community College and her M.S. in Health Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2019. Rachel Gerardy is a member of the Pi Alpha National Honors Society for Physician Assistants. She joined the NCARD team in 2019.

Dr. Hootan Forghani
Specialist, Rhuematology

Dr. Forghani is board-certified by the American College of Rheumatology and board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his Medical Degree at the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD and completed his Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Forghani's interests are Rheumatoid Arthritis, SLE and Musculoskeletal Sonology.

Siena Saluzzo PA-C
Physician Assistant

Siena Saluzzo is board-certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Siena graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2023. She received a combined B.S./M.S. degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is excited to practice in Rheumatology and joined the NCARD team in 2023.

Michelle Braun, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Michelle Braun is certified by the American Academy of Physicians Assistants. Michelle got her Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant studies in 2005 at Rochester Institute of Technology. Since that time, she practiced in Vascular Surgery until 2013 and Urology until 2022. She is excited to practice Rheumatology and join the NCARD team. She joined the NCARD team in 2022.

Sahar Nemati, CRMS
Practice Manager

Sahar earned her science emphasis degree in 2006 and has now been in the medical field for over 16 years. Sahar joined NCARD in July of 2016 and manages all three divisions: Nasseri Clinic of Arthritic and Rheumatic Diseases, Jean Walter Infusion Center, as well as Noor Laser MedSpa. In 2019, Sahar obtained her CMPM, Certified Medical Practice Management, and in 2020 she became a CRMS, Certified Rheumatology Management Specialist.
